26 Years and Counting!

The Galesburg Railroad Days Train and Toy Show is now in its 26th year.  This two-day show, now in its fifth year at the Galesburg High School Field House, has in excess of 2,500 visitors per year.  The show attracts vendors from all around the country with hundred of tables of merchandise and displays.

The Train Show is the largest summer event of its kind in the Midwest; there are 10 model railroad layouts and exhibits, as well as over 325 tables of railroad related items: antiques, apparel, art, books, collectibles, models, modeling supplies, videos, and DVDs.  

The Toy Show features over 70 vendor tables with die cast toys: farm equipment, automobiles, construction, military, as well as Hot Wheels, NASCAR, dolls, sports cards, and antique toys.

Admission Prices

Admission to the show is $5.00 per person (children 12 and under are free). Proceeds benefit Galesburg Railroad Days.

Shuttle Services

There is a shuttle bus service available every 30 minutes that will take you from the show to the downtown area for other attractions.

A golf cart is available to take guests to and from their vehicles in the parking lot to the show's main entrance.

The Train and Toy Show is part of Galesburg Railroad Days.  Every fourth weekend in June, we take a moment to celebrate our past. The railroad industry was integral in the growth of Galesburg, Illinois, and remains a proud symbol of our heritage. 

The annual celebration is now in its 43rd year

Come and join in the fun with us June 27-28, 2020. Whether you're into the carnival atmosphere, finding unique crafts or having an unmatched educational experience, Galesburg Railroad Days has something interesting and exciting for everyone in the family.

Attractions for the entire family all weekend long

This year we have an exciting slate of events, historical tours, flea markets, scrumptious food selections, and much more. Join the 5k or 10k race, enjoy the toy show, or watch historical steam engines roll down the track or get your face painted.
